Description
Most shrubs fade into the background. Sunjoy Sequins® Barberry does the opposite. This showy, easy-care shrub dazzles with variegated foliage that looks like a watercolor painting—new growth emerges in soft pink, mint green, and white before maturing to deep green, giving your garden a layered, dynamic look.
Growing just 2–3 feet tall and up to 4 feet wide, this mounded shrub makes an excellent choice for borders, foundation plantings, and colorful hedges. It’s one of the few barberries that thrives in part sun, so if you’ve got a spot that’s not blazing hot all day, this plant still performs like a champ.
Bonus? It’s deer-resistant, drought-tolerant, and low maintenance. No pruning necessary unless you want to shape it—and you won’t have to baby it through bad soil or dry spells. Just plant, water to establish, and enjoy its season-long foliage fireworks.
For gardeners who want unique color with minimal fuss, Sunjoy Sequins® brings the wow—without the work.
